Dedicated to the memory of Wayne Trowbridge

This site is a tribute to Wayne Trowbridge, who was born in Farnworth on July 03, 1958. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

Wayne enjoyed looking after the wildlife in our garden, it was often a joke amongst us that the birds & hedgehogs in the garden were better fed than the kids so we have decided any donations will be sent to the RSPB.

Thoughts

So many memories of spending my weekends at your house when we were kids. Wayne’s music tastes have definitely rubbed off on me. And more recently meals, drinking red wine and lots of laughs at casa Trobe or at the annual bbq where he’d showcase one of his many loud shirts. Far too many great laughs and memories to list. Papa Trobe was a lovely man, who’d do anything for his family who have always been so close. He had a great sense of humour with his witty one liners, even at the end. You will be so missed. 💔 Thinking of you all and sending lots of love, Kimberlina. xxxx

Words cant express how much Wayne meant to me. He was a wonderful Cousin, Son, Husband and Father. We have known each other forever but lost touch for a while, then back into my life he came, like a breath of fresh air and our bond grew stronger. He was like the brother I never had and he gave me the family I always wanted, Gaynor, Anthony and Bernadette. I hoped we had many years to come but it was not to be. The time we had I will always cherish. Love You Wayne, I will miss you so much. All my Love to Gaynor, Bernadette and Anthony❤❤❤❤❤

I’m not sure how long into knowing Anthony that I met the family. Sixteen years later it feels like you all came as a package. The Trowbridge family parties are legendary, but we’ve also been so lucky to have a lot of dinner parties together. I’ve always admired the close bond between your family. A family that spends time together not because they have to, but because they genuinely enjoy each other’s company. Wayne was never the loudest in the room. Not surprising with the rest of the family. I remember many quick lines, his kind eyes and a number of jazzy shirts. Most of all I remember laughter. I know that laughter may be hard to find at this time, but I know it will return. Sending all my love. Wayne will be so very missed by us all. Xxx
