I knew Wayne from being a baby, I baby sat him many times. He was so good, he would go to bed without any trouble. I watched him grow up into a lovely boy. His mum and dad were so proud when he passed his 11+ to attend Thornlea Grammar School, he looked so smart in his uniform. As he got older he would come and visit, we thought he must enjoy our comany only to find out he wanted Martin’s racing bike, once Martin gave him the bike he never visited us again 🤣🤣🤣.
He used to go off with his mates, Trevor, Alan & Tomo, I remember his 21st birthday do, we went on a coach to Walkden Civic Hall, we all had a good night finishing at Tom & Joyces as always.
He married Gaynor and had Bernadette and Anthony completing their family, a very close and loving family. I once said to Wayne “ You dont talk much” he replied “ I do when Ive got owt to say” that put me in my place🤣🤣🤣.
The sadness our family feels about the loss of Wayne is hard, we will miss him. RIP Wayne xxxx
lots of Love Eileen & Martin xxx
